This is exactly what my client had. A virus scan with Kaspersky Rescue CD found nothing, nor did the client's Norton.
The sent emails occurred over one 12 hour period and then stopped. I suspect this was some sort of cookie hijacking.
The header info I got from the *sent* email indicated it was routed from an android phone. This customer has no smart phone whatsoever, so its probably spoofed.

Anyhow, if you would PM me the header info from a received email, I'd like to take a look at it.
