True I still wanted to give this method a shot one day when I encountered a similar situation. The last time I had anything like cooltech is describing must have been like 2003 or so. I remember it was an FIC mb.

Now i get the cpu fan to move a very tiny bit for the same time the power supply turns on then right off. Didn't have the cpu fan move a little bit before.
