Logo, website,.co.uk or .com?

Hiya all

Need Help on 3 different things. I didn't want to make 3 different posts so i thought I'll squeeze them all in here.
All opinions welcome.

1st what you think of company (website) name? Repair Techies.
I have repairtechies.co.uk and .com. which is best to use .co.uk or .com? im from UK and all my customers are from UK.

2nd Logo. just created a logo and want to know what you all think. Its not complete, needs few tweeks.
should i have the name inside it or not?




3rd Website Design. What type of website is best? dynamic, wordpress, html, java... ?
Looking around in forums iv gathered Jim is the best at this so i might just go with him.
I have been messing around with wordpress on my site which is not live yet repairtechies.co.uk but
there's so many themes to choose from and i just dont have much time.

Domain name:
In my opinion, have .co.uk and point your .com to your .co.uk using a redirect.

I seem to assume .com's are corporates or American companies.

Logo:
I think the drop shadow on the logo is a bit much, makes the logo look smudged, maybe make it a little more subtle?

Lastly, website:

I would personally recommend using wordpress. it's good, its easy to use, and initially you don't have to make use of many of the features, you could just publish 5 or 6 basic pages, and then when you have more time start to add some extensions etc.

themeforest.net has got some cool templates. Just sort by top rated, or top sales and only use the first 2 pages of results. Narrow it down to 3, get some opinions and just make a decision! (I struggled with this bit, and spent days looking for the best theme...*sigh*)

Thanks for your opinion.

I agree about .com sites, I intend to think that too. Im sticking with .co.uk as main site, and using .com to to redirect.

Ill defiantly will be using WP, just need to find a nice theme. Thanks for that link i haven't checked it out yet, ill do it after this.

The logo was just playing bout for a bit 1st attempt on that, drop shadow will be removing that.

ill make another post about the logo when iv made few more that i like.
And with the .co.uk /.com iv made mind on that.
