Default Long horizontal track

Hey guys, got an odd question involving tracks for monitors that I've been battling for longer than I'd like to admit.

I have a client that wants to setup a very large track to attach a large number of LCD monitors to it, so that the monitors can clide back and fourth easily.

So far, I can only find vertical tracks, or horizontal tracks that can't go very far (Very large area).

Any advice?

Do you have an approximate length and how close to the monitors need to be together?
Would something like this work?

oh man, that site background is horrible! What about the wiring for the monitors? It seems like that may be a major limitation right there.

Wiring I wasn't worried about. I've had to figure out some pretty custom jobs for this particular company (larger corporate customers get picky sometime lol)

Anyway, I went with a quote using www.ergotron.com

Not exactly what I had in mind, but alot of their equipment will do more or less what I wanted, and the quick release brackets are amazing for swapping out dead monitors in a hurry.

I only hope that they will accept a quote for more than $200k (never sent a quote even remotely big like that so I don't know what the reaction will be.)
