I've been following this for a while. Although it's mostly dealing with Macs it's very, very good read for anyone doing board level work. I'm lucky as I usually have known good boards laying around for direct piece comparisons and tracing readings, but where these guys are coming up with schematics I'd like to know. One poster suggests creating a repository with a collection of all the schematics he can find. Hope he follows through. I know there is some high level brain power posting at Mac Rumors along with some real insiders. I just hope Apple doesn't find a way to squash it.
Kind of annoying that people keep trying to hijack the thread because they know they've stumbled upon goldmine of knowledge, but some of the thread hijackers don't even know where to start, so what the hell is the point. But it's been going since March 2011 and its amazing the following it's maintained and what it's morphed into.
