Virtual box boot

Hello all

I intend to make use of vb to try out windows 8 and use an older os for nostalgia. Mtg lappie only has 60gb hd and i was wondering.....i have a 250gb usb hd and would like my virtual box os files to reside on that therefore not ramming my laptop with these files??
Im sure there would be a way!

Easiest way would be to try it.. Took me two seconds to try and you just tell it to put the files on a different hard drive. Only point is to make sure it's ntfs since FAT32 won't play nice with your larger hard drives images.

Well, there's not much to reply to, really. When you set up a virtual hard disk, it will ask you where to store it. Select your external drive. That's it.
