Default Hello from Wisconsin!

Hello everyone, My name is Andy and I live in northwestern Wisconsin. I am a full time Systems Administrator at a small hospital, and want to start doing break/fix work on the side. I started my IT career 9 years ago at the original Geek Squad location in downtown Minneapolis before they were bought out by Best Buy. Back then Geek Squad had just around 30 employees. After the buy out I worked at the Best Buy corporate office to help shape Geek Squad into what it is today. I then left because my wife and I wanted to move home to Wisconsin.

Andy

You sure you want to take credit for that?

Yes I am sure. I am proud of the work that I did regardless of what your or anyone's opinion of GS is. GS gets a bad rap but let me ask you this. If your company had 1000's of technicians do you think you would have a perfect customer service record?

That's the problem. Pay a better wage and actually hire quality educated techs. Treat the employees like human beings and value the employees like you should your customers than there is no revolving door to negatively affect your customer service scores. This is common knowledge in any undergraduate basic business course. Study upon study backs this up.
