[Want To Buy] Blacklisted phones

all i seem to do nowadays is repair phones, im looking to buy blacklisted phones as thats where the money is for me, i know all the other parts are working

Usually refers to CDMA phones with a balance owed on the account, so the carrier blacklists the ESN

it can mean they have been reported lost or stolen but it also could be that a contract has been bumped

read the contracts on the cell phone as technically blacklisted phones are stolen (most carriers own the phone until end of contract). So we can't sell them (we can get slapped with selling stolen property).

Also usually you need to flash a different ESN to the phone, which gets grey legally..... (Legal to flash, usually illegal to sell once flashed).

Only usually legal use is to flash to another regional/local/smaller carrier.

why your posting this here I have no idea... but your lucky most will never allow a device to be un-blacklisted unless the account is straightened out.

I got the impression that the OP doesnt want to use the actual phone but use it for parts. His post states.
