Default Billing Rate Calculator

Found this today linked in another forum - it models expenses and income of your business to calculate the billing rate you need to meet your goals. Very well put together site, thought some of you might be interested.

From the site - "As an independent consultant you have a business to run and knowing how much to bill is a really big deal. This handy tool can help you figure this out. Plus, itíll help you understand how profit margins, expenses and even insurance costs all contribute to your billable rate. Ready?"

Has some great articles on the main site, too. Mostly these are for freelancers in general, but there's some good articles on things like handling trouble clients, etc.
