Default OCZ Agility 3 ssd – 240GB – $139.99 (SATA III)

Sounds like a great deal to me.

It's a good deal, but there's reason to be leery of OCZ, look at this:

Perhaps the Agility models are an improvement, but I'm not ready to be the guinea pig.

I second being leery about OCZ SSD drives. I have owned two. A Vertex 2 and 3.
The Vertex 2 started failing in under a year and the 3 had bad firmware resulting in BSODs.
As a OCZ owner, I recommend against them.

Same here, had a couple Agility OCZ's go DOA in a row; both shortly after installing them and loading windows on them. I'll never buy another OCZ again unless they improve their QC

I might as well join in. I had a 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 bite the dust after about 3-4 months. I don't expect everything I buy to last forever, but when you see review after review stating that the Vertex 2 disappears from the bios after a few months you have to wonder about the product. Some people even had their RMA replacements die on them. The reviews do seem to be slightly better for the Vertex 3 drives, but look at the current gen OCZ Petrol drive, yikes.

I have no experience with OCZ and from the replies so far, I won't anytime soon. Thanks for the input everyone. I'll stick with Crucial SSDs.
