The only business clients I seem to have problems with are the ones with an absentee ownership, meaning the ownership delegates to employee all responsibilities of dealing with IT support and does not become invloved in the slightest, sometimes to the extent that the IT person and the owner have never even talked. So you end up with a situaton where anything that needs to be communicated to the ownership must go through this intermediary, who often treats the IT person as an adversary, someone to pass the buck of blame to if something goes wrong.

I try to avoid any business clients where the ownership is so apathetic about their technology that they don't want to be bothered by it in the least. Sometimes you find out about this after the fact. I've dumped a couple clients for this reason, that it was too inefficient and frustrating to get anything done and the communication stunk because I was forced to deal with an unmotivated and adversarial middleman.
