Remote Repair Agent (Middle Man?)

I'm sure i've seen this on the net before, but failed to bookmark it.

It was a site whereby technicians could register, then get remote repair requests.

The company took a cut of what you charged, but obviously gets you remote repair work.

Anybody know of a site like this?

I never had much luck at it, but I never put a lot of time in at it.

I've ranted about my bad Crossloop experience before. Paid for branding, etc.; not a crazy amount but that's not the point. If a customer downloads the client from your Crossloop profile, it runs but does not brand until they connect to you. So, if they get the client from you but connect to someone else, it gets their brand. That really irked me.
Other than that, it's just a rallying point for pizza techs who want to branch out. You'll find guys there advertising for crap rates, undercutting everybody else. Kind of a "Craigslist Live" for an over-specific niche.

I agree with Xander. I used Crossloop for the same purpose as you and quickly became disappointed. I am now running screenconnect and couldn't be happier.

I wouldn't recommend Crossloop to anyone.

I do not remember the site name but I remember that it was not worth it as they took a big portion out of your money plus you had to compete with india workers.
