I have a prospect that is having issues with their internet dropping out. One of the major issues I see if that the modem and router are in a very hot/dirty environment. There is an office nearby where we can relocate the modem and router, however the existing wiring would all need to be redone. In an effort to avoid that, I considered installing a switch where the modem/router is now and just running a single cable. I am considering the Elinx ESW108, but I can't seem to find any reviews on it, have anyone worked with these in the past? Or do you know of any switch that is not gonna bug out in this environment.

Siemens has been around for a long time in the networking/broadband market.
They have a branch called RuggedCom http://www.ruggedcom.com/products/ruggedswitch/

I think those may be a bit overkill, but I will look into them, Thanks.
