Tell us a little about yourself
We are just starting out as an official company. There are 2 of us and we are currently employed full time and don't plan on giving that up anytime soon but are looking to utilize our skills outside of our regular work day. What country do you live in? US of A What is your current experience? (Years working on computers, in the business, certifications etc..) 20+ years with desktop, server, LAN, WAN Many years ago I was MCSE and MCT certified but that was back in the WinNT and Server 2000 days. I have not kept up on current certifications because it would not help me at all in my current position. I realize now that it would be beneficial for our new company. Are you self looking to start a computer business, already have one, working for someone else or something else? Just starting out. Anything else you would like to share? hobbies etc.. |

Welcome to the forums!
As a side note I don't think having current industry certs will help out your business as long as you know what you are doing and provide great customer service; I don't believe customers really notice certs or understand what they even are or represent (of course IMHO usually they represent any unknowledgable unexperienced and ultimately untrained joe blow who took a 2-3 week crash course or bought 'study material' e.g. the answers from testking.com) but I'm sure there are some differing opinions on that around here.
