When installing the screen, pull the digitizer cable ALL THE WAY through the slot! The digitizer cable on the 4 Series phones lays on TOP of the LCD cable, and tends to get pinched. If it's pinched, it can break off, like on the practice phone I had, that is now inhabiting a trash can. Believe it or not, some instructional pieces on the net do not mention this. Thankfully it was just a practice phone, but I promised my mom I'd resell it after I was done with it and give her the cash in repayment of money I owe her for something else. She won't get that cash now.
