Are there any good instructions on how to use RemoteManagement? The documentation seems to be kind of limited.

Are you sure you are looking in the right place? Their documentation seems fine to me.

If you're in the dashboard of GFI MAX, just click Help... Contents. Its all there.
If you are a client of GFI, email or call. Support is unlimited and free so use it up. |

just use it. i only started offering to customer when i was confident that i was able to run it with out problem.
i found the help section of the dashboard very helpful and tech support great. they were quick to response. GFI max i found confusing until i used it a little. Now i am shooting through menus. now I am working on getting some custom scripts working, but that more about my lack of programming than anything else. i know a lot of nibblers have signed up for GFI but i would be interest how many actually did. I am excited to be on the relative ground floor. They have some great things planned for 2nd quarter 2012. they should hire me for PR... lol

I was having trouble figuring out how Take Control worked. Figured out that it has to wait a while for the update to be installed.
All good, looks like a great product. |

This is true and you can see the status from the summary tab if you have the server or workstation selected. It will show you the progress of the update.
