Hi guys n gals, I've got a 19" 4:3 monitor that is displaying poorly.
It's fairly old but has been reliable for me for test purposes over the last few years. Everything has a ghost image just to the right of it this evening, though (see attachment). Not having much to do with displays before (have gotten hold of some dud laptops to practice on), I'm wondering if this requires a new screen or what! Google just throws up a load of native resolution and XP's clearview resolutions, though two blogs talked about exactly this and recommended moving the VGA cable, which makes mo difference. Any help would be appreciated here. Cheers. Edit: Don't worry guys, after trying a third (short - only 1m long!) cable it's normal. Guess I need to get another couple of spare cables now.
