File Recovery on Server

I'm looking for a specific file in a specific fileshare on a server that was deleted via the network; any good tools for this type of thing?

Assuming it wasn't covered in some sort of scheduled regular backup on the server....take a look at some of R-Studios products.

I did; no dice. Not my setup, so some of these simple things weren't implemented. O.o

Well, it's time to look at data recovery if that's the case. Like stonecat said, r-studio has some good recovery products.

If the data is important, turn the server off, clone the drive and then run data recovery programs against the clone. Do not allow any further writing to the drive from which the data was lost until you are 100% sure that you have fully recovered the lost data to another drive.
