U.S. Army Sniper
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently deployed in Afghanistan, but will be coming back to Alaska soon, and getting out of the Army in in 2013. I have grown up on computers, and have been fixing them for all of my comrades here in Afghanistan left-and-right. The phrase came to mind: If you're good at something, never do it for free. I would like to get started in the IT Tech industry, and plan on getting my CompTIA certifications started when I get back to Alaska. What country do you live in? The United States What is your current experience? (Years working on computers, in the business, certifications etc..) Working on computers since I was 7 or so, no certifications or prior employment experience in those fields though. Are you self looking to start a computer business, already have one, working for someone else or something else? I would like to start a computer business, mostly start working out of home, using my deployment savings to start everything up. I would eventually like to own a small computer repair shop. Anything else you would like to share? hobbies etc.. This seems like a great place to get started on becoming my own boss, and taking part in an industry that is guaranteed to go nowhere but up.
