This was a run of the mill screen change on a Dell 1525. Got new screen, hooked it up before screwing it all back together and got the Dell logo and went in to the BIOS. Turned off computer, put it back together, now I get no POST, just two beeps. Screen lights-up but nothing on the display.
I've tried the RAM, that does not appear to be the problem. External monitor, nothing. I think I turned the power off while it was displaying BIOS, could that have hosed the CMOS or something - I've never seen that happen before? Google does not seem to be too helpful today on the two beeps, a lot of people guessing and that spammy Fixya site. Any ideas?

Was the screen you used to replace used? Try unhooking the screen and plugging in an external and see if it boots.

Ahh.. the good old picnic (problem in chair not in computer) error. Glad to see you got it figured out.
