Tell us a little about yourself
Like anyone else in the Computer Business I spend more time at the store than at home!!! I work on my own, have tried employee's to do in home service but that didn't work out. What country do you live in? Wasaga Beach, Ontario Canada What is your current experience? (Years working on computers, in the business, certifications etc..) I run my own computer business and have been in business for 7 years. I have an A+ Certification and do part-time teaching at a local College (of course computers) Are you self looking to start a computer business, already have one, working for someone else or something else? I opened my own store in 2005 Anything else you would like to share? hobbies etc.. Home renovations when I have time, boating when there's time, have been working on getting my certification for teaching groups. I have found alot of great tips on this site, glad to be here thanks! Welcome to TN Debbie! I would like to hear your thoughts on teach/training new users in groups and how you do it.
I started out doing tutoring but quickly found the repair and maintenance part of the business got me the most work. I've considered teaching groups of older or retired people (plenty in my area), but when I hear from them about their experiences with group learning, they say they didn't get much for their efforts or didn't get their questions adequately addressed. Your thoughts? |
