I was also a heavy Firefox user until Chrome came out.

Chrome then IE9.
I only fire up Firefox these days exclusively for a couple of SEO plugins i use from time to time.

I'm still grudgingly with Firefox as my main browser. I have a set of extensions that I won't browse without. However, I do use Chromium (open source Chrome without Google branding) as well, and it's been a while since I checked the extensions available.

I find it sad that Firefox's quality has slipped. I was once an enthusiastic user. Now I just barely tolerate it.

Actually I reckon 9 is not a bad browser - its just after so many years of MS having produced totally crap versios of IE that were so phenomenally flawed, I dont have any time for it any more. Personally I think this is by far the best effort they have made so far though.

Definitely Chrome. I've been using it since it first came out and never looked back. Someone mentioned Chromium so I thought I'd mention the browser called Iron by SRware. It also based on the chromium engine (like Google's Chrome). It really is a great browser and I install and use it on all servers instead of Chrome. Agreed. I no longer recommend switching to my clients as long as they're using 9 and they haven't been experiencing any problems. Competition has been a good thing in the browser space.

Agreed...IE 9 is darned good. Not many people know that IE 9 enjoyed many months of "less security/vulnerability holes" last year than Firefox. So I chuckle when I hear people say they use Firefox because it's more secure than IE9. Old habits and old opinions are hard to break.

chrome. Agreed about firefox used to reign supreme. Chrome is coming along well with plugins being developed. Incognito mode is great and the clients appreciate it when I show them that feature.
