Default Ultimate Tech Site

I just wanted to post a thread and share my views on the UltimateTechSite product from 16k (Jim).

My apologies in advance if a thread like this doesn't belong here.

Anyway...$89.00. That is what it costs, and worth every damn penny.

I am a 150% noob when it comes to anything more complex than simple HTML. I knew I wanted a site that could be viewed easily on mobile devices like iPad, and iPhone, so I didn't want anything with flash at all. I looked around at a million templates, and none of them really struck a chord.

I read through a bunch of posts about Jim's package, and finally said "What the hell." It was only $89.00 after all. Let me tell you, Jim has everything described very well through his videos, and the pre-designed code for different pages was really helpful. I had a site up with plenty of Latin Words to be changed later, within a half hour of watching the first 4 videos.

Here is where it gets better, and Jim might not want this to be broadcast, so sorry Jim. Like I said above, I am a noob with anything web design related. Something in my brain shuts off, and I become a drooling, cross-eyed, pile of idiocy within hours. So, of course I got stuck on a few things. I thought I had read and watched the videos carefully, but it wasn't clicking. So I decide to email Jim. Now, I am on the East Coast (MA), and I am emailing him at all random times over a couple of days with moronic questions. He answered every single one of them (quickly), and even offered to hop on my site to do some tweaking if needed. Some of these emails were over the weekend, and he still answered. I'm pretty sure he doesn't sleep, or has managed to clone himself. $89.00 doesn't seem like a good deal on his end for the service he provides if you are like me, and need it.

Anyhow, thanks Jim. You have my gratitude and appreciation. My recommendation (for whatever that is worth), and my commitment to a renewal. You sir, are a gentleman, and great person to deal with. I look forward to any updates you make to your product.

I can add to this as well. I am in the beginning of setting up my website using this package and the videos thus far have been very easy to follow. He has also been very quick about replying, though I have only had one direct question for him. All I can say is keep up the good work and that I look forward to version 2.0

I'm looking to create a new website and this has my interest with the feedback here. Does this come with some sort of CMS and is it easy to login and make changes or add pages?

I will agree that Jim is indeed in a class of his own. I really enjoy doing business with him as he is most helpful.

it uses Wordpress: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPress

It's not just a Wordpress theme though by any means.

It's a complete kit with absolutely everything you need to get your computer repair business's web site up and running.
