Hello,
Has anyone connected an ipad to a windows domain network? The reason I ask is I need to setup an IPAD on a wireless network for a client that uses certificates which is controlled by AD which I setup, when laptop users login unto the network. It's a Windows 2008 AD network. Thanks in advance. Last edited by pcman2010; 04-03-2012 at 01:57 PM. Reason: . |

I have a client that runs an Auto body shop and needs to file insurance claims/pics/damages etc into a server/client program. Everything is on a Domain, and network is fully Windows based. The only solution (The one that is peddled by the insurance software program provider) is to use a Remote desktop program to log into one of the Windows boxes and work from there. Needless to say, the client returned the iPads and cancelled subscription for the iPad for two reasons: 1. Remote desktop'ing is far from ideal to get work done for them; cumbersome. 2. iPad doesn't take pictures, so it didn't eliminate the need for them bringing a digital camera outside with their Windows laptop/convertible tablets.
