Pavillion DV7-3085 hd drive appears stuck

Hi! I got in my first Pavillion dv7-3085 with a bad hd so I proceded to pull it, well I tried tugging on the plastic flap as usual, no go, I looked at the service manual on HP and it mentions some "tab" which I'm not seeing http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c01859261.pdf heres a pic attached, help?

You should be able to pull straight up on the tab that you have your finger on in the picture.

It's not stuck.


You lift up the left side of picture one...then slide it toward the left... The hard drive is attached using a cable adapter.

Actually, the tab appears to be on the wrong side. Lift up the side without the tab, then slide left...it's super easy and will be obvious once you do it.

I think you lift the left hand side just clear and then pull on the tag. Are you trying to pull the tag with the left hand side in situ?

LOL I hate it when stupid stuff happens, the other tab was stuck under the drive, once I pryed that out I was able to pop it out the opposite way the manual directs, thanks everyone for not laughing too hard!
