I have a samsung go-agent dock that I have plugged a internal cd-rom drive into. I cannot get Windows 7 to even see it! Could it be something with the dock? The dock originally comes on the bottome of the go-agent harddrive.

I don't have that particular dock, but have a basic IDE/SATA to USB cable. On some IDE drives I've had to change the jumper on the drive from cable select to master to get the computer to recognize it.
Hope this helps.

This is a SATA drive without jumpers.

It is entirely possible to get a dock that is flaky, or simply doesnt like the drive that is plugged into it. I would try another drive to make sure.
