You won't mess up. I've done a couple of these recently and was gratified by how skilled the interviewer was at getting me to relax and speak naturally. We had a quick talk before the recording to remind me what was important about my business and how I was different. I had fun. You will too.

Understand that radio advertizing is not an instant ticket to customers. It usually takes a little time while the radio spot is played several times per day for weeks before you start getting calls. Your story is unique though and you'll probably get some early responses.

I was lucky that a radio person heard of my business and suggested I come do some work for them in exchange for airtime. my workload with them evolves maintaining three networked computers about once per month and an occasional home visit. In 3-4 months time, it has led to several new clients including an exciting contract opportunity.
