Sardu is software that lets you boot multiple cd images for computer repair from a single usb stick. It lets you select various cd images then boot them just as if you were using the cd, but instead of carrying around 40 or 50 cd's, you carry around 1 usb stick.
Davide Costa is the brilliant programmer that has engineered SARDU for the rest of us technicians to use. It is more useful to me than pendrive linux, b/c it is easier to customize it and add the cd's you want. Davide is still working on sardu, and is creating a new beta version which supports more cd iso's that technicians specifically use. Currently he is working on incorporating inquisitor (the best open source program for troubleshooting pc hardware), into sardu. If you all saw the 50 cd list of cd's that technicians can use (most freely) for everything from hardware repair, to virus removal, to software troubleshooting, then you understand how big a project Davide is undertaking for all of us. Let's all give a round of applause to Davide Costa for supporting the technicians in the community and providing software specifically tailored toward making our jobs easier. Thank you Mr. Costa.
