Phone answering services
Last month when I missed 5 phone calls on a Sunday, I decided to get an answering service to get those calls and email me messages. Well, the service works great. I startd the next Monday and it really was pretty cool. No more checking voicemails 5x a day, no more worrying and we have found less hang ups. I also liked that they captured the phone and name and problems.
Then I got the first month bill  300 minutes 180 calls $315!!! I guess in my happiness, it didn't dawn on that the emails I got with instant messages were adding up daily. I did notice our hang ups were very low and no tire kickers. We landed almost every client, so I am sure this paid off. But I don't want to pay this amount every month. Holy crap. Does anyone else use a service and have a recommendation of one that is maybe a bit cheaper?

They have script options and you can have messages sent to different techs. I kinda like that feature. Some of my clients told me that "I had the nicest lady answer the phone" lol.

I'm using a company in the UK. Its a pay as you go service and the more money you spend when topping up, the cheaper it is. They charge per call and not by the minute, so I can keep an eye on the cost.

I'm looking into this as well, and after doing a little research I found this company
http://www.voicenation.com/live-answering.shtml You can see their pricing here: http://www.qualityansweringservice.c...ng-made-simple They are the only ones that seem to bundle in a lot of extra features that other places charge a-la-carte. May be worth a look!
