Without actual content, it is a little hard to critique. However, a few things come to mind.
The three different sections with the overlap don't work for me. Space them out and reduce their size a little. I almost missed your navigation bar, so make that much more prominent. Finally, it looks a little dated. To be honest, I would recommend using a Wordpress template to make it easy to setup and maintain. That will get you going quickly. What you have just seems like it will need way too many modifications. If you haven't looked at The Ultimate Techsite, I would recommend it. It is SEO optimized, and that will be a big help to you. I think he still has a sale going for the next couple of hours. |

I have thought about wordpress, but I decided to try and design it myself first. I think you guys are right, it does look a bit dated. I will probably go with 16k's Ultimate website builder.
