Got mine in about a week ago from Amazon. I put a Crucial 64 GB SSD in mine. Haven't had any time to fool with it but I have big hopes.

Would I be correct in stating that the difference between the ZM-VE200 and ZM-VE300 is that the VE200 is USB2.0 & eSATA, while the VE300 is USB3.0?
Any other differences?

This is the main difference, the 300 also provides one touch backup option

Also note that on the 200 you if you want to use esata you have to have both ubs2 and esata cables conected. The usb provides the power for esata mode.

Just got my ve-300 and I love it. What a timesaver. I keep a couple cd-rw and dvd-rw's with my stuff in case of picky systems but haven't had to fall back on them yet.

Wouldn't have known about these things if it wasn't for technibble.

I just ordered a ve-300 and a 1TB drive thanks to your recommendations. That's cool that you can load all your ISO's up and boot from them. I wonder if you could boot it from an ISO say UBCD for Win use one of the drive imaging programs then save the image right back to the drive? Anybody try this or have any other tricks/tips?

If youve got set up in ODD then yes as thats exactly what I do and its brill, an AIO solution
