Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To rerun a scan with the latest anti-malware definitions, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Its not the size of the code that counts, but the quality of your code. At least that what I heard....

Default How well does it work?

Has anyone used this program on a severely infected system? I want to believe that MSS would have a way to stop an already-running infection better than most antivirus, but I haven't had a chance to test it on a really bad system yet. Better yet has anyone out there tried the MSS and it didn't work worth a damn?

I have used it 4 or 5 times and it has fully removed the infection every time. I would however always recomend doing a full scan with a full AV scanner after using the tool.
