Lotus Notes Recovery

Do you guys have an experience recovery lotus notes archive files?

Have a laptop here that has been reimaged, but the archive files were not imaged.

Should be able to pull the archive off with any good data recovery software. File usually ends with a .nsf

Only the default .nsf files are appearing.

Is it possible the image the company put on today, is preventing the recovery?

Have tried GetDataBack for NTFS, but it didn't spot the archive.
The largest file it found was help7_client.nsf
Am trying Quick Recovery for Lotus Notes (pricey)
and also trying Active@UNDELETE

I can't believe this file isn't coming back.
How could reimaging a laptop obliterate a lotus notes archive?

A. By default, your archive is stored on your local machine in your Notes data folder under the path:
C:\Program Files\Lotus\Notes\Data\Archive\a_yourname.nsf
An alternate location might be:
C:\DocumentsandSettings\Username\LocalSettings\App licationData\Lotus\Notes\Data\Archive\a_yourname.n sf

If getdataback won't do it then I'd give up.

Is it possible that they didn't have it setup to archive?

The owner is certain archives were being created

We are talking about lotus notes here. I work with it for a large company with over 400 users. I wish they would scrap it, I've hard archive stop working or just not be setup correctly at all.
