Hello technibble!! My name's Tyler, 24, and my background with computers goes back to my first experience with the neighbor's old computer and setting up the pc in his garage and then the AOL 2.0 demo floppy we stole from a magazine in the grocery store and the rest is history. I was captivated by the fact that we could communicate with the world by simply hooking the computer up to the phone jack
Since then I've built gaming rigs, fixed lots of problems for lots of folks and know my way around the 95-Vista OS's pretty well (and that does NOT mean that I keep every DOS code in my head, I suck at DOS lol and I also have nearly no experience with html or linux or anything like that). The reason I signed up here is because I need help. I've been offered a position to supervise Best Buy's Geek Squad and I would feel 200% better if I read through a thorough but easy-to-understand book on pc repairs and issues that I may face. I need to get familiar with lots of things, and am willing and excited to learn! Thanks in advance for all responses and I look forward to whatever relationships may develop from signing up for TechNibble! |

The CompTIA A+ exam book looks fantastic. I'm looking forward to getting certified! Is it true that the entire process only costs approx. $200 USD?
