Virtual Machines Simplified.

Ok,
I made a video of me using a few vm's (virtual machines) on linux. You can also download the same FREE vm software on a microsoft windows pc.

I first made the video and it was nearly 400 meg. Since then I've reduced the quality and compressed it to 10 meg. Yes I'm serious. This will make it faster and easier for you to download and watch.

Here is what you will see. A typical linux computer running the free program oracleVM.
I use it to run windows XP on linux and I even run a copy of OS/2 warp for fun to show
you it can be done.

My linux desktop is crystal clear, and very beautiful. The leaves blowing around do not cover the windows at any point, however the video capture i did of this shows that happening. The reality is I never see that with my eyes, and the desktop is crystal clear.
I had to dumb down the video quality to make it small enough for you to easily download
and watch.

You will also see the compiz cube which is a way of giving you 4 desktops in linux, instead of the typical 1 desktop windows has. You will see things lit on fire, and phase in and out.

I have always been a fan of VirtualBox. I use Linux Mint with XP guest. It is defiantly a powerful combination.
