It's probably better for those with slow internet(I have 55mb dl) but the beauty of it is you can leave it to reboot and carry on installing the updates allowing you to go out and do calls.

Probably not quite what your looking for but even the free version is quite useful. Basically can ping various destinations and email you on a fault situation. Certainly worth a look....

When I started out I called it HOB I T and pronounced it that way but when I got calls they called me Hobit as one word so I just went with it. It's easy to remember and they can Google it easily.
