Is anyone familiar with Edimax software?

A client of mine told me that the newly installed 7708PN PCMCIA is not automatically connecting to their home wi-fi. I'm finding this strange as when I've installed the card it was automatically connecting. He told me that they need to input the security passphrase everytime.

From what I've read from the manual there's no 'automatically connect' buttons or anything similar. I'm going to try and create a profile though which should connect bu clicking on the profile without inputting the passphrase everytime.

Why do you think it's loosing the password everytime?

+1 to ACG - regardless of the brand, I never use the bundled utilites. They're just one more thing to go wrong. WZC all the way. A really annoying this is those cards that don't let you uninstall the utility without removing the driver. Easily gotten around with autoruns but still annoying.

Oh ok, thanks for the suggestions. I will use the WZO next time. I solved the problem by creating a profile for those who encounter the same difficulty and read this thread in the future.
