I am about to redesign my website, and I would like to know from you guys what you think the most important things to add to the 1 page of your website, like services, offers, phone number e.t.c.
also because i work from home would you put your address on there but state by appointment only.
Just need to generate some ideas, many thanks

In the UK you have to put your address by law on all advertising material ;)It also inspires confidence.

My website also needs redesigning its a shambles cosnidering my original job was supposed to be a web developer!

I'm in the process of updating my website too. I made major changes on the first page like the most common services like virus removal, tune ups, wireless network set up. I also have at the bottom of all pages links for home | login account | contact us | survey | Tell a friend.

Just take a look at what everyone else on this forum is putting on their index page. Plenty of people have links to their sites, so take a peek and get some ideas on how to do your own.
No other way to do it really ... a bit of research will take you miles :)

Today a customer told us she chose us because we have free computer advise on our web page.

I've been told by customers that they like my website. I even had one that didn't believe I was just a one man show. Lol. Feel free to get some ideas from mine. Click on image in sig.

I would recommend a FAQ section. I find it is a more popular page on my site and it gives you a way to explain some details that you may not want to include within the normal content of your services, etc.
