I have a customer that has asked me if I could get a new speaker for their Drive Thru. It is about a 5x5 speaker that also is a mic for ordering, I have checked the unit itself and there isn't any info on it. I have Googled it and can't find anything close. Are any of you familiar with this? Thanks.

You could build a custom rig or contact a company like these guys.

I think I have seen some two way speakers in the past in some catalogs for cb radio equipment.

I'm not currently setup with Ingram, do they carry this type of equipment? I will google CB speakers.

I asked my rep real quick while I was ordering some other items, he said they had things like that in the POS section.

find out what the Power and Impendance is. It should be written on the magnet at the back of it.
Like 10Watt 8 ohm or the symbol for ohm which I don't have it in this editor.
Once you have that, you can find an exactly the same one at an electronics store.
By exactly the same one I mean specs not brand.

and even if you find only the power (nWatt) the impedance standard this days for 12V DC is 8 ohm

The symbol for OHM can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohm

After searching for "CB speakers" It looks like what I am looking for is a talkback speaker, the only one I found was Valcom. I will research it some more.
