2008 Enterprise & Wireless Sync Question?

Hi guys,

I have recently setup a customer with 2008 Server Enterprise. It has Exchange server built in. We want to setup their smart phones to wireless sync with the Exchange server.

I have read tons of how to articles on how to set this up and seem to be going in circles. Has anyone set this up? Do you have a really good how to on setting it up?

Please do not post me random how to articles. I only want ones that have worked for you.

Sorry, I've only ever done this with WM5 & 6 and SBS 2003, which is probably alot easier than your config.

I think the Blackberry setup was much easier than this. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if Microsoft actually had full setup guide.

In WM6 open active sync > menu > configure server > put in web addy of the exchange server > username and then password > connect.

Is that not working for you?

I get an error each time and can't seem to find a fix. All the right ports are open and forwarded properly. I don't have the error number at the moment but, it a general error and not specific to anything.
