View Full Version : SHARP Printing Issue

I have a client that has a SHARP AR-507 that is networked via TCP/IP port. If certain people print, it goes through and then when someone else tries to print, it fails.

Any idea on why this is happening. I couldn't find anything on Google about this and SHARP tech support is only for consumer products. You are suppose to rely on the dealer for tech support, but this dealer has no clue what he is talking about.

If you go into the error log on the machine, it may tell you "Print job canceled - Invalid User ID" or something of that nature....
When you print to it, there should be a user access code in the printer driver set-up. Basically, each user should know theirs. You may be able to find the option and simply enter it or you may have to reinstall the driver/software and enter the code during set-up.

I will look for any type of logs. As far as the User ID's, they do not use ID's.
