View Full Version : "Big Daddy Mac"?

A customer just left me a voicemail (I was in the dentist's chair) saying that her computer has pop-ups and a background change that mention something about "Big Daddy Mac" having taken over.

She'll bring the machine in tomorrow, but I just wanted to know if anyone has come across this bit of malware?

I googled the name without success (she may have the name wrong though).

Yes; I guess she could've picked this up anywhere. Her message mentions that things changed immediately after someone in the house used a 'shopping site'. Mmmm... :rolleyes:

Can't wait to investigate (I still enjoy malware eradication even after all these years; I find it very fulfilling when you don't have to N&P).
