Not sure if this will help others BUT, once again I have to do wipe and reload without discs. Always forget the "secret" recovery partition key strokes on Acer. Found this and thought it might help others, especially for laptops.

I tryed ophcrack but it wouldnt work for me sometimes.
I use this http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd/ as long as you do it right it works every time. Most of the time about 90% the account is locked and you unlock it then you clear out the password. You just have to remember to unlock it first; I forget sometimes.
