I have used many apps with trojan viruses, and everytime I open them, Antivirus alerts me about them, but my pc haven't had any problem with them...
I want to know if trojan viruses are really dangerous for computers data or not?

No, trojans are not necessarily dangerous all the time for computers data. It basically depends for what the trojan is created for.
Trojans can also be created for fetching the passwords and for various other malicious deeds. Hence, this also becomes important for the user to know what kind of trojan it is, if he/she receives any...

Most trojans are designed to keep the computer running and online.
Back on the ol' days viruses did very nasty things such as destroying the boot sectors of your harddrive which prevents your computer from booting. However this is a evolutionary dead end for the virus as it cannot spread.
So now days they keep the computer running and online so they can further the spread of the virus.
As kamesh said, they are typically used for collecting passwords and other deeds. Another common evil deed is to turn the computer into a 'zombie' computer that the creator of the trojan 'the zombie master' can take control of and use it to attack other PCs.

Good information knuckles :)....
However, there are various ways to detect if the host computer has compromized. Here is where the ISP service comes into picture. Coz the firewall (if the user has installed the same) settings detect the hackin attempts.
And if the user is tech savvy, he would escalate this attempt to his ISP service, where the providers will come to know about the origination of the attempt and take appropriate action........
(I know complete details with regard to escalating/forwarding the complaints regardin Hacking attempts. If any one is interested, they can ask me about it)

I think any kind of trojans (including the inactive ones) are bad for your pc. Which antivirus are you using ? It might also be a false alarm by your antivirus. You could try changing your antivirus or doing an online scan at trends or panda.

I hate trojans.
They do mean things.
Viruses are very annoying but trojans a freakin worse.
It makes me want to send the stupid trojan back to is owner and let him deal with the retarded thing.
