Eset Anti-virus with quickbooks

I have not done all my research yet. I just got a call from a client that uses quickbooks with multiple computers and all was working fine until he installed a new anti-virus ESET. I am just asking for a quick response while I am trying to get the dope from Intuit and ESET. Has anyone had any issues with this combination. Thanks in advance.

Not in particular, no. But I think you'll find he has installed Smart Security (including Firewall!) as opposed to Antivirus..

Also check the firewall rules that file and printer sharing is not blocked. Most firewalls do this by default.

Thanks for the feedback. The client called this morning with what was mentioned in the first post. I will get back with him to see if the settings are set as you indicated. I have not been on site to see for myself yet, but once there things should fall into place.

I currently run QuickBooks on multiple systems with Eset and no issues. Sounds like he is blocking it with his settings.
