he's got mirrors up and the link doesn't seem to work @ this end. GI googled the site name to get to his front page. I gather hes having "issues" with his server.

You can download it, if you go to this bit of the page:

Download and Install

To get the PC Repair System system, simply download PCRepairSystem.zip and extract the contents to any USB drive 32 MB or greater. Remove the USB drive from your system and plug it back in. You’re off and running!

Then click the PCRepairSystem.zip

It looks ok but has no spyware or adware scanners as far as I can see, I have only had a quick look at it tho!

Yeah, he was. The link made front page digg.com / reddit.com / slashdot.org / del.icio.us so they would have had a massive wave of visitors downloading at once. Technibble has made front page of those sites a few times and the traffic that comes from it is quite server crippling.

I tested this out today. Its a nice assortment of repair tools (recovery, imaging, copying, hex editors etc..) with a central launcher that is loaded to the Systray.

I am not sure whether I would use it tho, I love UBCD 4 Win too much. Its a great tool.

I noticed that this PCRepairSystem has most of the tools UBCD has. I love UBCD too, however I hate waiting for it to boot up. This PCRepairSystem is a nice alternative to use under regular Windows.
