We have all come across hardware or software which either is a pleasure to work with or makes us cry. List your experiences here.

Good Hardware:
Belkin Wireless Routers - These are budget wifi routers built for home users. They are really nice to work with, everything just works, no wireless cards i have come across didnt talk to it. It was really a breeze.

Bad Hardware:
Creative Audigy Live! Sound Cards - Every time I have come across one of these there has been trouble. In fact, XP has a blue screen of death message pretty much dedicated to it (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=297088&sd=RMVP).

Bad Software:
Norton Antivirus - Most smart viruses are designed to bypass or disable Norton. Alot of the time it isnt even a virus that damaged the computer, it was Norton. God help you if Norton is preventing Windows from booting because you cannot uninstall Norton from Safe Mode.
When it is running fine, it lags the hell out of your computer.

I cant think of any specifics at the moment other than ASRock Motherboards, they seem to be really cheap and nasty, I have replaced a few.

One think that should always be of good quality is your Power Supply. Its worth spending that extra bit of money on a good quality PSU because if it goes it could take a few other things with it!!

I was searching the internet for a list of quality supplies but couldnt find one.

Bad Hardware: Any Logitech mouse...they all don't last long and break. Yes, I still hate them. ><

Im gunna have to disagree with Laharl as I usually must but Logitech makes the best mice and keyboards I have used. I will agree to Norton being a problem and sadly the others aren't far behind I haven't used Mcafee in a while but it used to be worse then Norton.

I have a Logitech keyboard and mouse and have been pretty happy with them. J ust don't install the " special " software that comes with them.
