It's a different product to Drive Image XML, he's talking about a backup program rather than a drive imaging program.

I agree though, it does seem like a developer's plug rather than an endorsed recommendation.

not used it yet, come across it while looking for something, thought tech might like it because you can backup your emails, and backup your windows registry, going to give a test later, but looks good for a solution to our customers to backup there data.

I recommend Comodo Backup. I've used it and it's pretty good. It was harder for me to find a reason not to use it.

snapfiles.com looks good and will use this for some stuff, cheers.
i recomended GFI backup because for a customer it is so easy for them to backup there files with this software.

Comodo is very good, but GFI does look like it'll be easier to understand for a computer novice so it might be a better choice to recommend to domestic customers.

Very easy to set up & run, I would happily point clients to it for it's "User friendliness" and ease.

Comodo Backup is nice, but I had some major problems with it.... It stopped running automated jobs just randomly. Nothing changed with the system, but it would just decide to not run. It ran fine for a few months before that issue started happening.

I switched over to Cobian backup and it's been rock solid.


But, for home users GFI looks much easier.
