Ok im a new startup and going to start advertising in the local paper.
What im looking for is what would you do.
What keywords would you use, and what would you say in your ad?
Any successful ads would be appreciated as examples.

Not sure what to say offline content apart from spell out that you provide "IT support services", keep it simple. We (IT people) tend to get carried away with technical stuff.
Website is excellent good although on the SEO front disable the CSS (FF Web Developer Tool bar is good for that) and then you get an idea how Google will see your site.
So for example yours doesn't have any keywords in h1 tags, if you do the same to ours you will see that ours does.
This is just something I learnt off dedicated SEO company last week.
Hope this helps

Thanks mate.
I have not finished my site, and I will add in the tags.
Still got alot of SEO to do, and im already on the 2nd page of google for a generic search 'Computer Repair Henley' so im pretty happy about that.
Once i finish my site i will concentrate on finishing the SEO.
But for now i want to get my ad out in the paper.
What do you think of my ad?
I did it at 12pm last night so dont shoot me.

Looks simple enough to get your point across. I've upload one we did a couple of years ago for 1/4 page.
I've not done that much advertising but one thing I did do, was to print a rough copy of the advert out and place it into the magazine or newspaper and see how effective it would look. Think about how the person would notice the advert compared others.

You should probably start considering SEO before you finish the site. There is a lot of stuff to do inside the site that is important to SEO. Trust me, I wish I had done it that way.

Thanks Jamie.
Your ad looks great.
Tim i have laid the foundation for my SEO already.
There are a few things i need to sort out and my keywords.
So it should be easy to finish later on.

I like the site just noticed two things not conformed, onclick works on the outside navigation but on the two inside color stays the same..I know its personal choice I'm just all into conformity..my two cents..and how did you come up with the color scheme? was black and orange intentional for any reason?

The 2 inside hexagons should change colour too.
I need to figure out how to make the images load first on the page so that when you go to hover over them it changes immediately, instead of downloading the new image.
I'll work on that later.
I chose Black & Orange as its different.
Most Computer technicians use Blue, while i personally love blue and wanted to do mine Blue, i also wanted to be different.
I tried Black & Red but the Orange was just not as strong.
So the desire to stand out from the crowd pulled me down the Black & Orange road :D
So far i think its looking nice and different so im happy.
Do you like it?
