Xp Powertoys

I'm sometimes amazed at the ammount of people who have never heard of XP Powertoys, they basically give you an extended CP and can come in handy for optimizing XP.

Used Powertoys once when i had xp but didnt like them cause of resources they tend to use up on my cool p3 machine. So got rid of them along with XP :) and shifted to Wind2003 full time :). I doubt anyone made powertoys for win2003.

I didnt know about the image resizer one. Will definantly be useful when clients want me to show them how to shrink their digital photos which are like (3000x3000 pixels) so that they can email them. Good post.

The image resizer just came in handy with a client who keeps trying to upload 3000x3000 pixel, 2mb jpgs.

I tried that Multidesktop powertoy which is very linuxy and comes in very handy. When I do webdesign and normal design work screen real-estate is at a premium, even running dual screens isnt enough.

I have noticed a very very slight slowdown as they seem to use alot of resources as a1whs said.
